Pass the lime and (Coconut) Tequila, Please!

Summer is in full swing, and what better way to beat the heat than with a refreshing and hydrating Coastal Coconut Margarita? This delicious concoction is super easy to make and is in my opinion, the perfect combination of tropical flavors and a hint of alcohol. I would dare to say that this is the ultimate “skinny” summer cocktail.

People tell me all of the time that they don’t like tequila. But I promise, as you take your first sip, you’ll be greeted with the crispness of the coconut water and soda water balanced with the tanginess of the lime and the warmth of the tequila! This tropical treat is the perfect combination for a summer filled with sun and fun! You will NEVER  look at tequila the same way again!

So, cheers to not only a safe and relaxing 4th of July, but also to the joys of summer!

And as always,

Live Life Elegantly and on the Edge!

Rosemary’s Coastal Coconut Margarita Recipe:

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1800 Coconut Tequila

  • Vita Coco Pressed Coconut Water

  • Soda Water (lime flavored is even better)

  • Shredded Coconut

  • Fresh Lime Wedges

  • Ice

Wet the rim of your glass using a wedge of fresh lime and then coat the rim in shredded coconut. Add your ice then squeeze two fresh lime wedges into the glass and add the wedges themselves. The lime wedges give this cocktail a beautiful summer splash of color. Then begin adding all of the other ingredients starting with (approximately) 3 ounces of coconut tequila, 5 ounces of coconut water, and a splash of soda water. Mix all ingredients together and add a sprinkle of shredded coconut to your drink if you prefer a little extra flavor.

Relax, sip and enjoy!!
